Mercur offers 14,000 employees at the Swedish Public Employment Service new support for budgeting, forecasting and reporting
The Swedish
Public Employment Service has chosen Mercur Business Control to provide the
organization with comprehensive support for budgeting, forecasting and
reporting.
The aim for
the new system support is to provide the Employment Service with better
conditions for planning and monitoring financial and organizational performance,
both in the short and long term and in accordance with the authority’s
performance management philosophy. The ambition is also to give managers at all
levels of the organization an instant picture of the economic space for action.
Great importance is given to the user interface being perceived as clear, attractive
and modern by the users while the solution also needs to be capable of handling
large amounts of data and large numbers of simultaneous users.

Mercur to create a common solution that covers the entire authority's budget,
follow-up and forecast needs, says Roger Sundholm, responsible for procurement
at the Employment Service.
-We are
pleased that we have clearly demonstrated how Mercur Business Control meets the

looking forward to an exciting cooperation with the Employment Service as we
