Marginalen Bank meets extensive reporting requirements with Mercur Business Control

After strong growth in the market Marginalen Bank implemented Mercur Business Control as one component for improvement of administrative processes, which until then involved time-consuming manual work in several Excel solutions. 

The need was reinforced by the fact that the EBA (European Banking Authority) developed a new framework for capital reporting (COREP) and financial reporting (FINREP), which created new demands on an already extensive monthly reporting.

Marginalen Bank was founded in 2010 and has approximately 300 employees in Sweden. Their vision is to contribute to a better world by creating economic opportunities for people from all walks of life. They  look to build partnerships, not based solely on numbers, but also on the currency of ideas.
