Cloetta implemented Mercur in Sweden and Finland to enable frequent forecasts at a detailed level. By connecting Mercur with the Infor M3 ERP system and Cloetta's volume planning system Mercur has created conditions to partially automate the process of sales forecasting. The model also includes integration with Cloetta's campaign and discount tools for calculating net revenue and functionality for allocation of warehouse and distribution costs, which give detailed earnings per article and customer group. The model also handles the forecast of market costs and other expenses.
